About

img-20160719-wa0015Since being diagnosed as autistic at age 18, I have a continued interest in all things autism. I am currently doing my PhD at the University of Liverpool, funded by the ESRC, exploring how we can use various texts (e.g. books) to support autistic and non-autistic adults in better understanding one another.

In my spare time, I like to get involved in improving understanding of autistic individuals. I currently blog here, run a podcast with my colleague and friend Sophie Williams (see Autism by Autistics) and try and run lived experience talks at the University of Liverpool.
